Dr. Noble is an affiliate of the Newark Rotary Club; the East Mound Community Development Corporation; the Columbus Baptist Pastor's Conference; the Ministerial Alliance of Columbus and Vicinity; the Newark Area Ministerial Alliance, member of the Republican Senatorial Inner Circle; Chairman of the Ohio Clergy and Business Leadership and member of the Park National Bank Board of Directors.

His most noted accomplishments consist of his pioneering and completing Newark's first senior citizen apartment building, which was opened in 1974. Construction of the church began in 1969 and the housing now includes 12 properties locally in Licking and Knox counties that services the elderly, families with children, and the physically and mentally impaired.

Other awards and honors include his receiving the Sertoma Service to Mankind Award; Who's Who Among Black Ministers in America and he was invited for a special briefing at the White House with key cabinet members and President Ronald Reagan. He was also honored to dine in the home of Vice-President George Bush in 1987.

He is married to retired United States Air Force Colonel Nora M. (Kendall) Noble and is the father of Dr. Charles W. Noble, Jr., M.D., Lecia Noble Pettigrew, Sylvia Noble Ochieng, Rev. Dr. Michael A. Noble, Sr., Shelly Noble Bass and Celia Noble.

Rev. Dr. Charles W. Noble's basic philosophy is that the church must meet the needs of the total man…that is if they are hungry--feed them…if they are thirsty--give them a drink…if they are outdoors--give them better housing.
