Rev. Dr. Charles
W. Noble, Sr. was born August 25, 1935 and is a graduate of Lucy
Laney High School in Augusta Georgia. He also graduated from Simmons
University and majored in religion. He pursued a Master of Divinity
Degree from the Methodist Theological Seminary and Shaw Divinity
Seminary and has done special studies at Rets University. He has
received honorary divinity degrees from Morris College, Baltimore
College of Bible and Guadalupe College. He holds an honorary Doctor
of Law Degree from Guadalupe College and has taken continuing education
courses with the Columbus Baptist Pastor's Conference since 1970.
Dr.
Noble has served as pastor of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church since
July 11, 1969. He presently is the President of the Washington Square
Apartment Housing Board; Chairman of the National
Baptist Housing Commission of the National
Baptist Convention, U.S.A. Inc.; Chairman of the Board of Trustees
and founder of the EUMBA Bible College; Lecturer of the National
Baptist Congress of Christian Education; Founder and President of
the Par Excellence Learning Center
and the Esther Jean Noble Scholarship Fund.
